At the time of policy purchase, you can enhance your protection according to your needs by adding various riders, such as Critical Illness (Health Essential) or Critical Care (Health Extensive), In-Hospital Daily Income, and Accidental Medical Reimbursement riders.

Starting from the second year of the policy, you will be able to use a portion of the Account Value for health‑related expenses through the Health Card.

All policyholders will receive a Health Card issued by Eastern Bank PLC (EBL). Your Health Card balance will include your deposited amount, plus a designated portion of the Basic Account Value from the second policy year onward. This card can be used to make cashless payments for healthrelated expenses at hospitals, diagnostic centers, and pharmacies. Cash withdrawal is not permitted through this card, ensuring that your accumulated funds remain reserved exclusively for health-related expenses and are available when needed for healthcare.

The accumulated balance can be used for cashless payment of health-related expenses through the Health Card. Furthermore, the applicable crediting interest rate on the Health Wallet fund helps your savings grow over time.

As the MetLife Health Savings Plan is integrated with the One by MetLife app, you can easily access policy information, updates, required certificates, and the balances of your Health Wallet and Health Card at any time. You can also view details of discounts available at healthcare providers and stay updated on Health Card offers and benefits through the app.
