Depending on the services and features you choose to use, including health and wellness services available through the One by MetLife application, we may collect:

- Health metrics from wearable devices, fitness trackers and mobile health applications;

We may use personal information to provide insurance-relatedservices, online servicing, customer support, health and wellness services, wellness tracking, health scoring, customer engagement initiatives, personalized recommendations and analytics. Certain health and wellness features may use Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning or predictive analytics to generate health-related insights and recommendations. AI-generated outputs are used for informational and engagement purposes and are subject to appropriate human oversight.
We may share personal information with MetLife affiliates, authorized service providers and verified vendors who assist us in providing health-related consultations, wellness tracking, health analytics, customer engagement activities and related digital services. Such parties are required to protect personal information and process it only for authorized purposes.
Participation in health and wellness features is voluntary. Where required, MetLife will seek your consent before collecting and processing health and wellness information. You may choose not to participate in these services or may discontinue participation at any time, subject to applicable
legal, regulatory and operational requirements.
MetLife may share personal information with verified vendors and service providers who assist in providing health consultations, wellness programs, health tracking, health analytics and related services on MetLife's behalf. Certain health and wellness features available through MetLife digital platforms may use Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning and predictive analytics to generate wellness insights, health scores and recommendations. These outputs are intended for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice or determine insurance coverage, underwriting or claims decisions without appropriate human oversight.
MetLife may transfer, store, access or process personal information outside Bangladesh where necessary to provide services and operate our digital platforms. Depending on the service being used, processing may occur in Bangladesh or other jurisdictions where MetLife or their authorized service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards are implemented to protect personal information during such transfers in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 of Bangladesh.
Users may request deletion of their One by MetLife profile through the in-app account deletion function or through the online account deletion form available at https://www.metlife.com.bd/delete-account/.
Upon account deletion, MetLife and its authorized service providers will delete or anonymize associated health and wellness information, Rest assured that health/wellness data is retained only as long as necessary for stated purposes, account operation, legal/regulatory/audit/security obligations according to MetLife Information Lifecycle Management retention requirement.
However, where an individual has submitted a lead, requested information about MetLife products or services, expressed an interest in purchasing insurance products, or where retention is otherwise required by law or regulation, certain information may continue to be retained by MetLife for those permitted purposes.
