MetLife Bangladesh is now offering “Online Payment” facilities to valued Policy Owners allowing them true digital experience while maintaining their policies. They no longer need to stand in long queues or go out to a nearby MetLife or a MetLife Partner Bank Counter to make payments to MetLife. A Policy Owner may make online payment using Credit or Debit Cards or e-Collection Service i.e., by debiting one’s own Bank A/c and crediting MetLife.
i. Holders of any Visa / Master Card / American Express Credit/Debit Card can avail this opportunity. A Payment Gateway Usage Fee will be charged depending on the Amount Payable to MetLife;
ii. Customers will have to choose the Payment Type i.e., payment against Premium, Automatic Premium Loan (APL) Loan, Lapse, Auto Surrender or any other Balance;
iii. S/he will have to go through the Amount mentioned against each “Sub-head” i.e., Payment Amount, Double Billing Amount (if applicable) and Gateway Usage Fee and refer to the “Terms and Conditions” to avoid any inconvenience in future;
iv. After successful completion of the procedure, an electronic Premium / Money Receipt (without Stamp or Signature) will appear on the screen, a copy of which will automatically be sent to Cardholder’s e-mail address;
v. Customer may also take a print out of the Premium / Money Receipt;
I. Only Internet Banking customers of “EFT Credit Enabled Banks” can avail this service;
II. No Processing Fee is applicable on this service;
III. After customer logs in for this service, concludes entries into various data fields, and clicks on the “Submit” button, s/he will be required to keep the page open that appears on the screen of MetLife Website until all input are complete for the transaction;
IV. Any transaction submitted AFTER the cut off time of the customer’s respective bank or DURING Friday / Saturday / Public Holiday will be processed the next working day;
V. Customer will receive an acknowledgment SMS only after MetLife receives the payment from the customer’s Bank. Policy Owner will receive MetLife official Premium / Money Receipt in his / her registered mailing address.
