Mohammad Kamruzzaman

Mohammad Kamruzzaman is the Assistant Managing Director & Chief Corporate Business Officer at MetLife Bangladesh, where he leads the development and management of the company’s B2B corporate business. His portfolio includes employee benefits, affinity partnerships, credit protection, microinsurance, and digitally embedded insurance solutions.

With over 25 years of experience across diverse sectors such as education, ready-made garments, and life insurance, Kamruzzaman brings a wealth of strategic insight and operational expertise. Since joining MetLife in 2002, he has held multiple leadership roles spanning retail sales through face-to-face agency distribution, accident and health profit center management, product development and data analytics, employee benefits, and corporate business.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Kamruzzaman actively engages with key industry stakeholders. He is a standing committee member on Environment, Sustainability, Governance (ESG) and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) at the Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), and represents MetLife at the Japan Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JBCCI).

He holds a BBA from Khulna University and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He has also completed executive education in B2B Marketing Strategy from Columbia Business School. Kamruzzaman is a Fellow (with distinction) of LOMA, USA, and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute, USA.
